Got a short email from Rory this AM in response to a question I sent him. So, he is safe and hanging in there, though very busy.
I am always grateful and relieved whenever any of us hear from him. :)

Welcome! We've set this website up as a way to keep friends and family connected about Rory's life in Iraq and as a way to show our support. Rory is currently serving his country with the US 8th Army, 2nd Infantry Division stationed in central Iraq. This website will only be as good as the participation it gets from friends and family. And Rory will be able to view the site from Iraq periodically. So leave your updates and your comments here with love!
