Other Thanksgiving Updates

• There is a Thanksgiving letter from the commander today.
• There are also some new pictures of the troops enjoying Thanksgiving dinner in Ramadi.
• And then there are even better pictures of 2-17 enjoying their dinner. None of Rory today :( ...but don't worry...I've got connections and am working on that! Also note the other new galleries of 2-17 playing football and another open mic night. They even posted a couple of videos. I think I maybe saw part of Rob's head in one?

• Not too much more information, but the Middle East Online does have an article on recent actions in Ramadi. Soldiers from both the 1-503rd and 1-9th infantry battalions are mentioned and quoted.
• The NY Post has an article on a wounded 2nd BCT soldier. Sgt. Orlando Gill of the 2-17th Field artillery, lost his leg in an ambush in Ramadi on 10.02.2004. He has since returned to the U.S., and recently was fitted with a prosthetic leg. He aims to remain in the Army as a "lifer". Sgt. Gill was previously celetrated as part of a tribute at an NFL game.
