Ramadi News
There are several reports that there is fighting on the streets of Ramadi and that soldiers have retreated to the bases. Al-Jazeera reports that "In Ramadi, five American soldiers were injured when Marines shot at and destroyed two suspected car bombs. Seven Iraqi fighters were killed in this clash."
The military has not confirmed this yet (so it may or may not be true) and we do not know whether they are Marines or from the Army.
Also, regarding the Internet situation in Ramadi right now, I found out the following: "Currently, our HHC internet system is down. We do have other BNs on Ramadi who have internet systems and some offices have internet systems. We are working to get the HHC internet system back on line. As of 3:22 p.m. 9 Nov. a contract technicians is being sent to our location to fix the problem. We are also in the process of trying to purchase more internet systems so soldiers will have access."
So Rory may not be online for a bit. If anyone hears from him, PLEASE post. With things so crazy over there I am in a perpetual state of worry.
Rory we are praying for you and your unit constantly.

These are the lyrics to a song by Allen Asbury:
Somebody's Praying me Through
Pressing over me like a big blue sky
I know someone has me on their heart tonight
That's why I know it's gonna be alright
'Cause somebody's praying me through
Somebody's praying me through
It may be my Mohter, it might be my Dad
Or an old friend I've forgot I had
But whoever it is I'm so glad that
Somebody's praying me through
Somebody's praying me through
Through the tears, through the rain
Through the sorrow, through the pain
It keeps bringing me through
Over and Over again
So when you're drowgning in a sea of hurt
And it feels like life couldn't get any worse
There's a blessing waiting to push back the curse
'Cause somebody's pryaing you through
Somebody's praying you through
Somebody's, somebody's praying you through
Each in our own way, Rory, we are all praying you through. Love to you always!
