Monday Monday
In case you missed it, Sarah posted an update in yesterday's comments. Also through the grape vine, I now hear that Rory is now doing guard duty. According to my sources, everyone is fine but the phones at this base really stink. Apparently, you can barely hear what they are saying. As Sarah mentioned, they will be moving soon and then they will be doing 12 hours on 12 hours off rotations and phone calls will be more regular after that. Once he has moved I will post more info about his new location. It should have the basic same "amenities" as Ramadi, just on a slightly smaller scale. There is also less news coverage in this area, which is a bummer, but on the other hand is a good thing because this area is a lot safer than Ramadi and therefore has less to report. Remember, boring is good. Have a great week everyone!

i got the chance to talk to rory for a long time yesterday and it was wonderful. he had the day off so he got to call nick and i. he sounds great, better than he has in a long time. leave is still up in the air as i'm sure you suspected. he was going to move camps today......... i forget how to spell the new one he is going to... i think it's (editted for OPSEC) .... that's probably spelled wrong. he didn't know exactly how to spell it yet either.
rory told me about some movies he has seen recently such as napoleon dynamite, garden state, and eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.... which are three of my recent favorites so that was cool.
