Well, sorry it has been so quite here, but I have been on the road and am now back at Rory's house! Not too much new news to report out of Ramadi, though the events in Mosul have been very sad. From what I hear Alpha battery has been split up doing different jobs. Some of the guys have been on and off base at various outposts. The good news is that they are all safe. Word on the street is that Rory got his Christmas packages and really loved them all. There are also some new Christmas videos on the Steel 2-17 FRG page that are cool. Unfortunately there is not one from Rory...I think he might have been on patrol or something when they did these. If/when we hear from him we will let you know. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Hopefully some of you will drop by the house over the holidays!

Welcome! We've set this website up as a way to keep friends and family connected about Rory's life in Iraq and as a way to show our support. Rory is currently serving his country with the US 8th Army, 2nd Infantry Division stationed in central Iraq. This website will only be as good as the participation it gets from friends and family. And Rory will be able to view the site from Iraq periodically. So leave your updates and your comments here with love!
